Drop Sugar Cookies

Drop Sugar Cookies are a family favorite because they are quick and easy to make, and everyone enjoys them!


• 1 cup butter, softened 
• 2 cups sugar 
• 2 large eggs 
• 3 ½ cups flour  
• 1 teaspoon baking soda 
• ½ teaspoon salt 
• 2 teaspoon baking powder 
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

With an electric mixer, cream butter, sugar and eggs. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder together. Alternate adding dry ingredients and sour cream to the wet mixture. Add vanilla.

Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 min. Cool, and then frost with your favorite icing.
