Dairy Checkoff Works
Dairy checkoff works on behalf of U.S. dairy producers to drive increased sales of and demand for U.S. dairy products and ingredients through:Fuel Up To Play 60, Partnership, Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.
Dairy checkoff works on behalf of U.S. dairy producers to share dairy farmer stories and increase sales and demand for U.S. dairy products and ingredients. Through activities at the American Dairy Association North East and partnerships on the Local and National level, we're committed to having a lasting, positive impact on our local communities.
Dairy checkoff is committed to helping protect and promote the image of dairy products, producers and the industry by offering training and tools to help dairy farmers tell their story to the public and a comprehensive issues management system.
As dairy farmers, you take good care of your cows and land to produce safe, wholesome milk and dairy foods. Through the “Your Milk Comes from a Good Place” program, we connect consumers to dairy farmers to tell the dairy farming story through events, social media and one-on-one conversations.
Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy
Dairy producers, through their checkoff investment, created the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy in 2008 to address challenges and opportunities that require industry-wide action. The Innovation Center works with and through industry on shared priorities of dairy farmers and the dairy industry value chain in a pre-competitive forum. Visit usdairy.com to learn more.
Fuel Up To Play 60
Dairy farmers, through their checkoff investment, have partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Football League in an unprecedented campaign called Fuel Up to Play 60 that encourages students to get 60 minutes of physical activity every day and to eat nutrient-rich foods, including low-fat and fat-free milk and milk products. Learn more about dairy farmer’s commitment to improving children’s health and nutrition at FuelUpToPlay60.com.
Checkoff partnerships drive change and grow short- and long-term dairy sales. Over the past year, marketing partners; such as McDonalds® and Domino’s®, have contributed $6 for every $1 that producers invest, while finding new and inventive ways to share the joy of dairy through their products.
Dairy Exports and Ingredients
The U.S. Dairy Export Council® (USDEC), funded in part by the dairy checkoff, works on behalf of producers and more than 100 member organizations to enhance global competitiveness and exports of U.S. dairy products.
