U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist English Gardner's message to high school athletes during COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a ripple effect on all facets of life, including sports on both the world and local stages. It has postponed Team USA and all countries from competing at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and canceled local high school championships. Precautionary social distancing measures have forced members of society to stay inside and find new ways to keep in the best of shape and stay upbeat.

U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist in track & field English Gardner is no different any other person or athlete when it comes to this. Her shot to defend her Olympic Gold medal has been postponed and she has to be creative to stay at the top of her game during this crisis.

She's here to provide words of encouragement to high school athletes across our region and provide some tips for staying in peak condition during the pandemic.
