Thousands of Student Athletes Refuel with Chocolate Milk

Chocolate milk is the official beverage of many high school state championships in our region, and more than 8,000 student athletes refueled at spring events.

As part American Dairy Association North East’s “Refuel with Chocolate Milk” sponsorship at these events, digital and print refuel messaging, along with public service announcements, encourages athletes and fans to drink chocolate milk.

Spring sports included track, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and golf for the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, New York State Public High School Athletic Association, New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.

In total, each year across the region we sponsor:
* 135 high school sports state championships
* 50,000 athletes refuel with chocolate milk
* Nearly 15,000 coaches and athletic directors get year-round nutrition information
