Thousands of Student Athletes Refuel with Chocolate Milk

Student athletes that recently participated in the fall state championships in soccer, cross country and girls’ tennis refueled with chocolate milk as part of ADA North East’s sports marketing program.

Dairy farmer Neil Peck from Schuylerville, N.Y., presented awards and served his hometown high school football team – Schuylerville High School – chocolate milk to refuel tired muscles and replenish lost nutrients after the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Class B Championship game.

Our sponsorship includes providing chocolate milk to the athletes, as well as signage and public service announcements at all events. Each year we sponsor 135 high school state championships where 50,000 athletes refuel with chocolate milk. We also share sports nutrition information regularly throughout the year with nearly 15,000 coaches and athletic directors for a year-round “Refuel with Chocolate Milk” message.

Chocolate Milk is now the official beverage of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

New York State Alternate Dairy Princesses Alyssa Roorda and Morgan Hungerford participated in the girls’ soccer championships.

Orange County Dairy Princess Gabby Miyoshi was at the boys’ soccer championships where she made dairy public service announcements about refueling with chocolate milk.
