ADA North East presented the science behind why high-endurance athletes should “Refuel with Chocolate Milk” with 600 high school football coaches through at the New York State High School Football Coaches Association Clinic last week. Along with engaging coaches about chocolate milk as the best beverage after exercise, four coaches won prize packages that include free chocolate milk during preseason practices and a nutrition presentation for their teams.
Through ADA North East’s NFL partnership with the New York Giants, punter Riley Dixon spoke at the event to promote chocolate milk as the top workout recovery drink.
The Refuel with Chocolate Milk campaign through ADA North East also sponsors New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).
In 2019, ADA North East sponsored 120 high school state championships region-wide where 36,610 athletes refueled with chocolate milk. We also shared sports nutrition information regularly throughout the year with nearly 15,000 coaches and athletic directors.
