Domino’s total revenue rose 13.4 percent in the quarter ending in mid-June compared to a year earlier because consumers ordered in more pizza during the pandemic – and pizza had become the top user of cheese during the food chain disruption. Dairy checkoff-funded contactless car-side delivery service that allows diners to choose where they would like their ordered pizza placed in the vehicle also helped boost pizza sales – which continues to translate into more cheese sold.
