New York dairy farmers and Refuel with Chocolate Milk were a sponsor of the fall 2020 scholar-athlete program of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) that recognized 1,437 teams and nearly 19,000 individuals from across the state. The annual Refuel sponsorship includes logo placement on all scholar-athlete team certificates distributed to 8,400 teams each year; logo placement on 155 award plaques; and logo placement on the scholar-athlete webpage.
By sponsoring the youth sporting events and programs, ADA North East can promote the Refuel with Chocolate Milk campaign to remind student athletes chocolate milk is the ideal post-workout drink to recharge tired muscles.
ADA North also shares sports nutrition information with nearly 15,000 coaches and athletic directors every month. Chocolate milk is the official beverage NYSPHSAA, Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Maryland Public Schools Secondary Athletic Association, New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, District of Columbia State Athletic Association, and Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association.
