Throughout ADA North East’s six-state region, 184 stores participated in the Dairy Aisle Reinvention program in 2019, for a total of 766 stores to date. Retailers are reporting sales increases after a new installment. The program places customized signage, nutrition information, merchandising techniques, and features dairy farm families in Farm-to-Table signage.

The program encourages consumers to spend more time and more dollars in the dairy aisle by creating a positive shopping experience and building trust in local products.

In New York, ADA North East has worked with ShopRite to place the New York Grown & Certified signage in 58 dairy cases, helping consumers recognize locally produced dairy products.

More than 40 Pennsylvania retail stores have incorporated the “Choose PA Dairyâ€_x009d_ campaign into the dairy aisle. ADA North East is currently working with Weis, Kennie’s Markets, Redner’s Markets and Shop ‘n Save. Additional stores carrying the Choose PA Dairy theme will be added in 2020.
