DairyFAN Members Develop Social Media Skills

Eleven members of DairyFAN (Dairy Food Advocacy Network), ADA North East’s social media advocacy outreach program for college students, young professionals and other dairy advocates honed their skills during a training and tour last week. Participants garnered tips for developing a social media plan to enhance their own advocacy efforts.

The group visited Tumino Cheese in King Ferry, New York, and Half Full Dairy Farm in Elbridge, New York, and heard from New York Farm Girls, dairy farm sisters from Maple Lane Farms in Marietta, New York, with a popular social media following.
