‘Farm Fun with Farmer Katie’ Provides At-Home Students with Online Dairy Education Options

ADA North East and Union Bridge, Md., dairy farmer Katie Dotterer-Pyle are teaming up this week to offer daily videos featuring different on-farm topics like caring for calves and cows, cow nutrition and milking, and ways to use dairy products.

Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m., a pre-recorded video will be published daily on our Facebook page and later available on the ADA North East website. Friday, Farmer Katie will conduct a Facebook Live segment from her kitchen highlighting a favorite dairy recipe.

ADA North East’s virtual farm tours are also available for students to view while at home, in addition to fun dairy coloring pages to help fill the days.
