More than 440 registered dietitians participated in a nutrition webinar last week, a partnership with ADA North East and the Genesee Dietetic Association. Collaborating with the audience provided the chance to promote our health and wellness initiatives in schools – Breakfast After the Bell that ensures children have access to breakfast at school that includes milk and dairy foods - and Flavored Milk in Schools that enables students to have a choice between white and flavored milk in school.
Angie Dye, an ADA North East health professional spokesperson, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and sports dietetics specialist, presented “Intuitive Eating – Practical Applications for Registered Dietitians.” Third-party spokespersons like Dye reach diverse audiences with positive dairy nutrition messages.
