In the past three weeks, ADA North East has helped get more than 40,000 gallons of milk to families in New York and Pennsylvania with milk provided through Nourish New York and the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP).

Today, we are partnering with Oneida County, N.Y., to distribute 8,000 gallons of milk. Earlier this week, we joined forces with the office of Legislator Robert Schrader and the Herkimer County Legislature to organize a drive of 6,000 gallons, and the Food Bank of Central New York and the office of Assemblyman Will Barclay and the Oswego County Legislature to distribute more than 8,000 gallons at two drive-throughs in Oswego County.

Since the pandemic began in March, ADA North East has helped to deliver more than 250,000 gallons of milk from local dairy farmers and dairy processers to those in need across a six-state region that includes New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C.
