Brett and Johanna Bossard from Barbland Dairy in Fabius, New York, recently participated in the national Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador Summit in Cleveland, Ohio. Brett was invited as a member of the National Dairy Board and his leadership to the program through that role.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is the dairy checkoff partnership with the National Football League that promotes healthy eating including dairy, along with 60 minutes of exercise each day. The program is active in more than 11,000 school in our territory and helps serve as a gateway to establish school breakfast programs where we are able to sell more milk, cheese and yogurt.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Fuel Up to Play 60, 35 students and 16 advisors from the ADA North East region were part of the 388-member delegation from across the nation.
