Last Sunday, 175 youth athletes on 41 jump roping teams refueled with chocolate milk at the 28th annual Double Dutch Holiday Classic in front of a sold-out crowd of 1,500 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. Teams came from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, and as far away as France, Japan, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The Refuel with Chocolate Milk sponsorship was promoted to thousands of New York metro area schools through a promotional e-blast. Refuel signage was featured on participant t-shirts and awards, on the performance stage, and at a Refuel cocktail hour before the show where spectators and participants received complimentary chocolate milk.
