Retail Expansion Efforts Selling More Dairy 

With nearly 80 percent of milk still sold in retail outlets, the ADA North East’s retail team has been making strides in providing a positive experience for shoppers in the dairy aisle. 

Dairy Aisle Performance Program Coverage  

  • More than 10,000 retail stores in our market for milk purchasing 
  • Our retail team made 6,080 store visits

Dairy Aisle Revinvention - 2018 Highlights  

  • 175 stores received new signage, display and hygiene enhancements 
  • 105 new stores received yogurt dividers; Total stores to date: 728
  • Cheese pushers placed in 76 new stores; Total stores to date: 164

In less than a year, the ADA North East retail team:  

  • Added 102 retail stores in the Pittsburgh market
  • Began a partnership with Weis Markets, including visits to 66 stores
  • Added Redner’s Markets in February of this year
