Author: Administrator | May 15, 2019

Milk and dairy foods in schools were the focus of the Big 30 Forum – a program for school nutrition directors hosted by ADA North East this week. More than 30 directors for some of the region’s largest districts learned ways to “Supercharge School Meals” at the event at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.

By sharing important dairy nutrition messages with school decision-makers, more milk and dairy is offered to students to boost academic performance, and thereby continuing to increase sales.

Speakers included:

  • Maeve Webster, a nationally-known foodservice consultant focusing on marketing and innovation insight
  • Top Chef Junior and Fuel Up to Play 60 kids
  • Phillip Kurien, a brand strategist highlighting Pizza Marketing Research
  • Chef Jeff Henderson, a celebrity chef, author, television host and inspirational speaker
