Thousands of New York Student Athletes Refuel with Chocolate Milk

Chocolate milk is the official beverage of the state championships of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, or NYSPHSAA. As part of our “Refuel with Chocolate Milk” sponsorship at the track, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and golf championships this spring, nearly 4,000 athletes benefited from chocolate milk’s recovery assets.

The sponsorship also included digital and print refuel messaging, along with public service announcements encouraging athletes and fans to drink chocolate milk. In addition, 7,700 New York coaches and athletic directors also get year-round dairy nutrition information to share with student athletes.

In total, each year across the region we sponsor:
* 135 high school sports state championships
* 50,000 athletes refuel with chocolate milk
* Nearly 15,000 coaches and athletic directors get year-round nutrition information
