It’s time for the big game and dairy farmer Jared Kurtz of Kurtland Farms, Elverson, Pa., is a super Philadelphia Eagles fan. American Dairy Association North East saw an opportunity to share the Kurtz story with the media to help consumers make the connection with the farmers who provide their milk.
ADA North East’s team traveled to Kurtland Farms to capture video of the Kurtz family, their team of new calf “cheerleaders” who were named after Eagles players – with a dairy twist. We also recorded the family singing the Eagles fight song – and the media is loving it!
More than 70 news stories have aired about the Kurtz family so far this week. Even the popular news magazine show “Inside Edition” featured a video clip on the story, touting how farmers keep their calves warm in the winter with calf jackets.
Spread the news by sharing this Facebook post from Kurtland Farms.
