Dairy farmers Walt Moore of Walmoore Holsteins, Cochranville, Pa, Jaylene Lesher of Way-Har Farm, Bernville, Pa., Jesse Miller of Birchrun Hills Farm, Chester Springs, Pa., and Duane and Marilyn Hershey of Ar-joy Farm, Cochranville, Pa., joined ADA North East and Dairy Management Inc. for one-on-one conversations with staff members from the Mischief agency, the national public relations company that developed the “Reset Yourself with Dairy” campaign geared toward Gen Z consumers.

“We appreciate that the group wanted to see how milk is produced so they can translate what they learned into the messaging they are developing on behalf of dairy farmers,” said Lesher.

The group had requested to visit a dairy farm to get a first-hand look at dairy farming. Walt Moore from Walmoore Holsteins in Cochranville, Pa., hosted the tour.

“I’m always glad to host farm tours to share our story and to be transparent about dairy farming practices,” said Moore. “It’s beneficial to have face-to-face conversations with those who are helping us promote our products to the Gen Z audience.”
