Hal Adams of Black Brook Farm in Shortsville, N.Y., was interviewed by WROC-TV in Rochester on Monday to explain how he and his wife Kerry are keeping their cows cool during the current heatwave. The interview came about after ADA North East pitched a story last week to the New York news media about dairy farmers’ efforts to help cows beat the heat.
The media and consumers continue to be interested as this is the fourth one-on-one interview about the topic. Others from last week included:
- Kelly O’Hara and Garret Miller of Oakwood Dairy, Auburn, N.Y. were interviewed for a story on Syracuse.com.
- Paul Fouts of Fouts Farms, Groton, N.Y., was interviewed by WSYR-TV.
- Mark Bradley of Bradley Dairy Farm, Athens, Pa., was interviewed by Elmira’s WENY-TV.
