ADA North East’s retail team works closely with local retail stores to ensure that dairy cases are kept clean, cold, and well-stocked which has proven to increase sales. This is done with regular visits throughout the six-state region to audit and inspect dairy cases and introduce best management practices and other tools to local and regional supermarket staff.

To date in 2021, we have visited more than 5,500 stores across the region and have developed long-term positive relationships with dairy case managers.

The first three months of 2021, 45 percent of stores we visited had hygiene issues of some degree. By July, that number was cut nearly in half thanks to our team’s work.

We provided more than 1,400 stores with best management practices for store workers with information related to hygiene, temperature control, rotation, and sell-by date policy, among other issues.
