In a crowded virtual landscape, it takes a great deal of content to keep our websites fresh and our social media channels relevant with consumers. To accomplish this, we rely on third-party contributors to help us reach the millions of consumers living in our region. Click here to learn more about how we utilize our advocates.

To thank our dairy advocates for all their hard work and commitment during the year, American Dairy Association North East held a special virtual culinary event entitled—Cheese and Chocolate: An Unlikely Pairing.

event hostsCo-hosts, Jessica Sennett, founder of Cheese Grotto, and television celebrity Chef Jason Smith, “Triple Crown” winner in the competitive kitchens of Food Network, hosted our group of dairy advocates for a fun-filled and educational evening to experience three delightful cheese and chocolate pairings.

In addition, dairy farmer, Chair of the National Dairy Council and President of the Board of Directors for American Dairy Association North East, Audrey Donahoe relayed thanks to the registered dietitian attendees for their year-long commitment to providing trendy and vibrant content for our digital platforms.

In all, the 43 dairy advocate attendees included members of our Sports Nutrition Advisory Panel, Culinary Team, Content Creators, and Spokespeople.

The Pairings:

  • Based in Stephentown, NY, our first cheese was from cheesemaker Four Fat Fowl, with their St. Stephen Triple Crème which was paired with Chocolove Milk Chocolate. Four Fat Fowl brings 30 years of combined experience into their cheesemaking. Their signature St. Stephen Triple Crème has ranked among the top cheese in the New York State Fair year after year.
  • Based in Hudson Falls, NY, our next two cheeses were from Argyle Cheese Farmer. Grace cheese was paired with Milene Jardine Chocolatier South American Dark Chocolate. They have been producing artisan cheeses for the past 16 years. Argyle produces more than twelve different artisan cheeses and has received awards during the New York State Fair for both their yogurts and cheeses.
  • And from the same cheesemaker, Argyle Cheese Farmer, our third and final cheese, Mercy, was paired with Milene Jardin Chocolatier Raw Pistachio Chocolate Bar.

We look forward to continuing collaborating with our dairy advocates in 2022 to help us inspire consumer passion for dairy products.
