Pennsylvania princesses and alternates visited Gro-Lan Farms, owned by the Grove family, in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, as part of the dairy princess seminar.
ADA North East staff conducted training workshops for dairy princesses in Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania. More than 80 county princesses, alternates and young promoters gained knowledge about dairy checkoff, answering tough questions, and social media do’s and don’ts. Participants also learned about the promotion strategies in place by ADA North East and how local promotions reinforce dairy checkoff’s consumer reach in schools, retail and through social media.
Ellie Feaga of Woodbine, Maryland, was selected as the 2019-2020 Maryland State Dairy Princess, at the conclusion of the seminar. Kylan Keehan of Bel Air, Maryland, was named Alternate Dairy Princess.
New York dairy princesses received a checkoff update from CEO Rick Naczi.
