Retail Team Adjusts to ‘New Normal’ to Provide Positive Shopping Experiences that Sell More Dairy

Milk and dairy retails sales remain strong as quarantine restrictions are lifting, and the ADA North East retail team continues to work with stores to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Since the onset of COVID-19, we have assisted store personnel in stocking nearly 134,000 dairy items in stores throughout the region. At the same time, our team has continued to execute the Dairy Aisle Reinvention (DAR) program that gives the dairy case a “makeover,” to be more shopper friendly. DAR installments include dairy signage, yogurt dividers and cheese pushers – all of which help shoppers more easily find the dairy items they’re looking to purchase.

Our retail team members who have been helping stock shelves are also getting back to their regular work of the Dairy Aisle Performance Program (DAPP). This includes working with the dairy managers to make sure they keep the cases clean, cold and well-stocked. During the year, our team will make more than 6,000 visits in more than 1,400 stores in the region.
