ADA North East continues efforts this week to distribute milk made available through Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) funds. This week, 48,800 gallons will be delivered in New York and Delaware thanks to collaboration with local dairy cooperatives, processors and community groups.
In total since mid-May, 325,500 gallons have been distributed to families in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware with milk purchased from Clover Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, Harrisburg Dairies, Schneider’s Dairy, Upstate Niagara Cooperative and H.P. Hood, with funds provided by CFAP.
Drive-through events this week include:
- July 14, East Syracuse, N.Y. — 4,300 gallons
- July 15, Utica, N.Y. — 4,000 gallons
- July 16, Sandy Creek, N.Y. — 2,160 gallons
