ADA North East’s “Fun on the Farm” video series most recently featured Lisa and Casey Porter of Porterdale Farms in Adams Center, discussing the importance of keeping cows cool on hot summer days.
Their episode is running this week and contributing to the nearly 2.5 million views the series has garnered since launching in mid-March when the pandemic hit and families were looking for online educational information.
This Saturday, dairy farmer Julia Robbins of North Harbor Dairy in Sackets Harbor will host “Fun on the Farm” and celebrate July as National Ice Cream Month. She will show viewers how ice cream is made as part of their agritourism business at “Old McDonald’s Farm.”
