Dairy farmers continue to support local families in need through facilitating distribution of food boxes that each contain a gallon of milk. Last week, ADA North East worked with local partners to get 5,000 boxes given to Pennsylvania families, through the Farmers to Families Food Box program through USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) government-funded grants.

This week another 7,656 boxes will be distributed through the Salvation Army in Syracuse, N.Y., and in Pennsylvania through food distribution and community organizations Cocoa Packs in Hershey, the Hope Center in Nescopeck, State Line Community Center in Waynesboro, and YMCA of Centre County.
