ADA North East partnered with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association last month to encourage student athletes competing in the state football championships to refuel with chocolate milk after the big game in Hershey, Pa. Part of our sponsorship included call-outs on the live broadcast on the Pennsylvania Cable Network. Each of the six games featured four airings of our Refuel commercial, two live commercial mentions, and the Refuel logo score bar branding throughout all games.
“Refuel With Chocolate Milk,” is a campaign funded by dairy farmers through ADA North East which supports the state football championships. We provided coolers branded with the Reuel logos that are packed with chocolate milk for each championship team to take to their games.
“We support all the state athletic associations in the ADA North East region because athletes – particularly Gen Z students – are the target audience for the ‘Refuel with Chocolate Milk’ campaign, so it’s a win for everyone,” said ADA North East CEO Rick Naczi.
Compared to water and most sports drinks, chocolate milk has double the carbohydrate and protein content needed to replenish tired muscles, and its high-water content replaces fluids lost and prevents dehydration. ADA North East provides this and other nutrition information to more than 15,000 high school coaches monthly to share with their athletes.
