To help kids make the connection to where milk and dairy foods come from, dairy farmer Jenna Lenhart of Thurmont, Md., checked in live from the farm during ADA North East’s virtual Fuel Up to Play 60 fall kickoff event with the Baltimore Ravens. She was joined by dairy advocate and current Ravens punter Sam Koch and former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail to explain that dairy is the “fuelâ€_x009d_ in Fuel Up to Play 60. Together they also stressed the importance of physical activity, and Jenna did a few curls with the students using two 10-pound feed buckets.
