Milk distributions coordinated by ADA North East will provide more than 47,000 gallons of milk to families in need in Pennsylvania and New York this week, thanks to our collaboration with local dairy processors and cooperatives and local community groups.
Drive-through events are happening in several locations. In Pennsylvania — Greensburg, Hastings, Connellsville and Masontown, and in New York — Corinth and Fabius. Other deliveries will be made to food banks or community organizations that will handle distribution to families.
Milk was purchased this week from Dairy Farmers of America, Harrisburg Dairies, Schneider’s Dairy, Upstate Niagara Cooperative and Clover Farms Dairy, with funds provided by the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP).
