Dairy farmer Rich Hill from Cattaraugus, N.Y., recently joined the New York State Dairy Ambassador team, along with several county dairy promoters, at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) state basketball championships. “Refuel with Chocolate Milk” is the presenting sponsor of the championships, and Hill and the ambassadors provided the athletes with chocolate milk after their games.
“As a dairy farmer and a basketball official, it gives me great pride to represent my fellow farmers at an event like this,” said Hill. “Chocolate milk’s nearly perfect combination of replenishable nutrients and rehydration make it a natural fit to provide it to these champion athletes.”
“We were able to interact with fans, athletes and coaches, and it was great to share dairy messages with them,” said New York State Dairy Ambassador Arianna Amen. “The athletes and coaches rushed to get the chocolate milk that we provided to refuel after all their hard work on the court.”
