Grand Union Retail Stores to Help Get Milk to Families in Need During Hunger Action Month

Dairy farmers, through ADA North East, are partnering with 11 Grand Union grocery stores during Hunger Action Month in September to support Fill a Glass with Hope®.

From Sept. 1-30, shoppers can donate at checkout to help make milk available to families through their local food banks. Throughout the month, stores will host in-store consumer giveaway and sampling events with local New York dairy farmers and dairy ambassadors to encourage donations.

Check presentations will be made to the food banks at the end of the campaign.
