CHESTER COUNTY, PA, (Feb. 26, 2025) – Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers announced today that they have entered into a multi-year partnership with the Philadelphia Union.
With this partnership, Pennsylvania dairy farmers and the Philadelphia Union will share in their commitment to sustainable business practices and together promote impactful collaborations that highlight the nutritional value and real enjoyment of milk and dairy products.
“Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers and the Philadelphia Union are a perfect match. We’re excited to share in our commitment to provide sustainable nutrition for all people,” said Lolly Lesher, Chair of the Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program (PDPP) on behalf of Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers. “Dairy farmers in the Commonwealth are sports fans, and with this partnership, we will showcase Pennsylvania’s strong dairy industry, which provides locally produced, wholesome milk to consumers throughout the region.”
Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers are proud sponsors of the Philadelphia Union and will be the entitlement partner of the WSFS Bank Sportsplex café, where Pennsylvania dairy products will be sold. The sponsorship will also include onsite activations during promotional theme nights including the “Greener Goals” game on April 19 at the Union’s home stadium, Subaru Park. Through the sponsorship, they will also be a Bronze sponsor of the Army-Navy Cup XIII in 2025.
“We’re excited to partner with Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers to highlight the impact of proper nutrition,” said Charlie Slonaker Chief Revenue Officer, Philadelphia Union. “We understand that dairy can be a key part of an athlete’s diet, delivering essential nutrients. Together, we’re encouraging our athletes and fans alike to make smart, nourishing choices that fuel performance both on and off the field.”
The Pennsylvania dairy industry, comprised of nearly 5,000 dairy farmers, contributes $11.8 billion in annual economic revenue to the Commonwealth and supports 47,000 jobs.
