The $500 Leo Briggs Memorial – American Dairy Association North East Scholarship will be awarded to a college student who has completed one year of post-secondary education and is from American Dairy Association North East region (NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE and northern VA).
In keeping with the intent of Mr. Briggs’ legacy and American Dairy Association North East, applicants must have exhibited leadership in dairy promotion. Based on the following application and a 400-word essay, the scholarship will be awarded to an individual with interest in agriculture, dairy product marketing, dairy manufacturing, agricultural communications, journalism or dairy product nutrition.

The $1,000 Dawn Houppert Memorial– American Dairy Association North East Scholarship will be awarded to a college student who is a current or former dairy ambassador or dairy princess in New York State, has completed one year of post-secondary education and is from American Dairy Association North East region (NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE and northern VA).
Dawn Houppert was a strong advocate for dairy farmers, a great team player, and radiated a strong positive energy in the presence of others. To honor her legacy, ADA North East will award an individual who exhibits personal and team excellence in the program. Based on the following application and a 400-word essay, the scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has an interest in agriculture, dairy manufacturing, marketing, communications, journalism or dairy product nutrition.
