American Dairy Association North East will be sharing current dairy checkoff results during the livestream of the 2024 All-American Dairy Show, starting with the Premier National Junior Shows on Monday, September 16 through the open show Supreme Champion Pageant, Wednesday, September 18, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, Harrisburg.
The livestream will be available on the All-American Dairy Show website and social media, and on Cowsmo.com.
“With so many dairy farmers tuning into the All-American Dairy Shows online, it makes sense to sponsor the live coverage to reach them with our dairy checkoff messages,” said ADA North East CEO John Chrisman. “We encourage farmers from our six-state region to look for video clips during the broadcasts to learn more about their checkoff investment.”
The videos will air approximately seven times per day from Monday, September 16– Wednesday, September 18, during the live broadcast of the three-day show. The video clips each feature a different segment of ADA North East checkoff programs, including the virtual farm tours, school nutrition programs, and retail sales. In addition, viewers can also learn about national dairy checkoff programs through Dairy Management Inc., and better understand how local and national checkoffs are working together and “Making Every Drop Count.”
Additionally, dairy checkoff partner Domino’s is sponsoring pizza for the youth exhibitor social event of the Premier National Junior Events on Saturday, September 14, held as part of the All-American Dairy Show. Dairy use by Domino’s, the number one pizza company worldwide, along with other national foodservice partners Taco Bell and McDonald’s, has grown an average 2.2 billion pounds, or 3%.
ADA North East will also have a booth in the exhibit area of the complex with promotional items and printed materials where farmers can learn about checkoff programs and results.
