Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) and checkoff partner Pizza Hut joined forces to give away half a million pizzas to Class of 2020 high school graduates. The promotion was developed to help move more dairy, in this case cheese, that builds trust and relevance for dairy and dairy farmers while celebrating the class of 2020.
The announcement was made live from New York City on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, May 21. An Undeniably Dairy co-branded MilkPEP (Milk Processor Education Program) spot ran after Fallon made the announcement, as well as during the premiere of the Titan Games on Monday, May 25, on NBC and on The Tonight Show all week. The segment is also live on The Tonight Show YouTube channel which has 24.9 million viewers, and on its social media channels that have a following of nearly 20 million.
The story has been covered by Business Insider that includes prominent mentions of America’s dairy farmers. In addition, DMI’s national NFL and youth spokesperson JuJu Smith Schuster appeared on Good Morning Football to promote the giveaway and to thank dairy farmers. He also posted about the partnership on all of his social media channels.
