Volunteers are needed to support the 2023 Pennsylvania Farm Show Calving Corner, the live dairy cattle birthing center where more than a half-million consumers will learn about dairy production. The annual event is set for January 7-14, 2023, in Harrisburg.
Four Pennsylvania dairy farms are providing cows for the popular attraction including:
- Cedar Pine Farms – the Rotz family from Chambersburg, Pa.,
- Zugstead Farm – the Zug family from Mifflintown, Pa.,
- S & A Kreider and Sons – the Kreider family from Quarryville, Pa., and
- Furnace Hill Holsteins – the Krall and Heistand families of Lebanon and Elizabethtown, Pa.
