Consumers Want to Know How Farmers Keep Cows Cool

This month, ADA North East helped pitch a story to New York media about how farmers are keeping cows cool during the current heat wave. The article featured quotes from Kerry Adams of Black Brook Farm in Manchester; Taylor Clifford of Locust-Spring Farm in Sloansville; Paul Fouts of Fouts Farm in Groton; Brian Robbins of North Harbor Dairy in Sackets Harbor; and Kelly Reynolds of Reyncrest Farm in Corfu.

Consumers and news media were interested. Numerous media outlets used the story and others requested one-on-one interviews from farmers to learn more about cow care. To-date, they include:
