ADA North East’s retail team visited 126 stores in New York last week as part of our Dairy Aisle Performance Program that assesses dairy case hygiene and other conditions, while offering suggestions for improvement. Stores included CVS, Hannaford, Kings, Price Chopper, Speedway, Stewarts, ShopRite, Tops, Walgreens, Wal Mart and Wegmans.
In addition, the retail team continues to help retailers stock shelves in the dairy case during the quarantine period as stores are faced with limited staff and increased demand for product. Last week, we helped stock more than 7,000 units of milk in New York markets. All told, our staff has helped stock nearly 120,000 units of milk, cheese and yogurt throughout the ADA North East region since the quarantine began.
