Today and tomorrow, New York dairy farmers are joining ADA North East and the Food Bank of Central New York, along with other local community organizations to provide 1,700 boxes of milk, dairy products and other food to local families in DeWitt and Oswego, N.Y. The food boxes are made available through the Farmers to Families Food Box program with USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) government-funded grants.

Last week, dairy farmers, ADA North East and other community groups also facilitated the distribution of 5,184 food boxes and gallons of milk in Pennsylvania and New York. All told, we have helped distribute more than 900,000 gallons of milk via more than 200 drive-through and drop-off events throughout the region since April 2020.
