With families cooking and eating at home more because of the pandemic, milk has made its way back to kitchen tables — with 72 percent of moms saying milk was their number one “must have.” In response to the renewed interest in milk, Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) launched a new version of the old favorite — the “got milk?” campaign this week. ADA North East is amplifying the campaign on our social channels and, in addition, launched an Instagram contest for consumers in our region to post their #gotmilkchallenge video with a second hashtag, #milkmovesme, for a chance to win fun prizes.
The campaign will focus on engaging youth and their parents who shop for them using digital communications and social media. Some of today’s biggest social media influencers will be involved, like Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky swimming the length of a pool with a glass of chocolate milk on her head — that she drinks at the end.
