ADA North East’s August milk distribution efforts kicked off today with a milk drive in Fulton, N.Y., in partnership with the Catholic Charities of Oswego in Fulton. Milk was purchased from Dairy Farmers of America with government-funded grants through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP).

Wayne and Ontario county dairy promoters volunteered at the milk drive today and helped distribute more than 2,100 gallons of milk, in addition to 450 boxes of meat, produce and additional dairy products.

Total year-to-date, 678,000 gallons of milk have been distributed between CFAP, Nourish New York and the Dairy Farmers of America milk drives, which began in April.
