To wrap up 2021, American Dairy Association recognized School Meals Heroes! We asked students throughout the region to nominate the school lunch hero at their school who made their days brighter and deserves a shoutout – and students came out in droves to tell us about the amazing people who provide school meals to them!
Today we recognize Alice Williams from Build Community School PS #92 in Buffalo Public Schools, New York. Williams is known by her students for going above and beyond to serve great food with a listening ear.
“Ms. Alice is always supportive. She listens to all concerns. She is kind and helpful. She makes my day,” said one student nomination.
Another nomination said that “Ms. Alice ALWAYS goes above and beyond. She is caring and kind and makes certain that ALL scholars have a full tummy.”
