To wrap up 2021, American Dairy Association recognized School Meals Heroes! We asked students throughout the region to nominate the school lunch hero at their school who made their days brighter and deserves a shoutout – and students came out in droves to tell us about the amazing people who provide school meals to them!
Today we are featuring Dahlia Minor from Folly Quarter Middle School in Howard County Public Schools in Maryland.
Minor is known for her smile at Folly Quarter, with many students sharing that they nominated her because of her warm smile.
“Mrs. Minor should win because she gives off a happy and positive vibe,” said one nomination. “She also tries her best to give out great meals at school lunch time. She also smiles a lot, which makes us happy.”
