Dairy Takes Center Stage at State Capitols

Pennsylvania dairy farmer Justin Risser, his children and two Holstein calves from Bainbridge, joined the June Dairy Month celebration at the Capitol in Harrisburg on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Visitors were reminded to support the Fill a Glass with Hope® campaign, Pennsylvania’s program working with Feeding Pennsylvania to help provide local families with milk.

New York state and county dairy promoters participated in Dairy Day at the Legislative Office Building in Albany, where they distributed milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream samples from local dairy businesses.
